Utilita Business Energy customers are required to have a smart meter installed in accordance with our terms and conditions.

Smart meters are one of the safest pieces of technology in your business. According to Public Health England (PHE), the exposure to low frequency emissions from smart meters is lower than that caused by appliances such as microwaves and TVs. Smart meters are also covered by EU and UK safety legislation, which means they have undergone rigorous testing.

All non-domestic customers and/or their nominated third parties can request up to 12-months of their historical smart meter data:

• Single site customers can access their data via My Utilita or by emailing smesales@utilita.co.uk.
• Multisite customers can email smesales@utilita.co.uk to access their historical smart meter data.
